Advocating treatment of Osteopathy for horses as well as humans. H and H Osteopath.

Diagnosed with Trigeminal Mediated Headshaking, Roo had a full veterinary diagnostic workup which proved unremarkable, giving a very poor prognosis.

He had EquiPENS treatment which was unsuccessful and was deemed fit for euthanasia.

Broken hearted, we wanted to try other avenues before giving up, while keeping his best interests and welfare at the forefront of all decisions.

Consideration to diet, balancing the PH of his gut, calming the nervous system down and facilitating recovery and healing, he is now manageable, ridden, schooled and since competed at dressage with so much enthusiasm and exuberance for his work he didn't know what to do with it all!

This is by no means a claim to 'fix' or 'cure', however, managed well, he is mostly totally asymptomatic and exhibiting no sign of pain or discomfort, though we are on a learning continuum.
